Community Guidelines

Rate My Tone is a place for musicians to share their sound and exchange constructive feedback. These guidelines apply to profiles, tones, images, audio, reviews, and replies.

Keep feedback constructive

Discuss the tone and the music. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, threats, sexually explicit content, impersonation, spam, and other abusive or objectionable content are prohibited. Do not share someone else’s private information or content you do not have permission to use.

Report abuse and block users

Use Report next to a review, reply, or user profile to tell our moderation team what happened. Choose Block user to immediately hide that user’s tones, reviews, and replies from your account. Manage or remove blocks in Dashboard → Settings → Blocked users.

How moderation works

Text submissions are screened for profanity. Our moderation team reviews reports and may remove content, issue a warning, suspend an account, or delete an account when these guidelines are violated. If a filter prevents a legitimate submission, or you need help with a moderation decision, open a support ticket.
